delhi technological university (delhi college of engineering) operated kashmiri gate campus in heart of old delhi until 1989, when construction began @ new campus @ bawana road in may. moving of operations kashmiri gate new 164 acres campus @ bawana road began in 1995, , new campus formally started classes 4 years of study starting 1999.
the new campus lush green campus connected road. facilities include library, computer center, sports complex, 8 boys hostels, 6 girls hostels, , married couples hostel. campus has residential facilities faculty , staff. campus has auditorium , open-air theater.
an additional campus of dtu being planned built in khichripur, east delhi. new campus offer non-engineering courses.
