the old armadale academy building
the local high school armadale academy built @ site plays host armadale primary school. rebuilt , opened in 1967, @ west main street, armadale, , again rebuilt , opened in august 2009, behind 1967 academy building. site of old building used new car parking facilities, , new playing fields. current headmaster carol mcdonald. old headmasters, campbell hornell, moved onto larger school @ end of 2015/16 term, , graham johnstone retired @ end of 2009/10 term being headmaster there fourteen years of service. school has seasonal magazine named, aloha armadale . team made of pupils in school.
