the forewing dark brown tan stripe extends base apex. there white lines cover veins. black hindwing has broad pink median band. has wingspan of 2 3 inches. moth large , has stout. furry body. dorsal hind region crossed 6 distinct white stripes , similar striping patterns on wings. hindwing black thick, red-pink stripe in middle.
