on 26 september 2014, after class boycott campaign, students led members of hong kong federation of students (hkfs) , scholarism occupied civic square, triggering crowd protest in support outside central government offices in admiralty. on 28 september 2014, @ 1.40am, benny tai announced official start of occupy central love , peace civil disobedience campaign on stage of student protests. proposed areas around government headquarters occupation site in place of central proper.
