early life
he born in nelson county, virginia on august 18, 1808. , twin sister, mary ann, children born william , fanny hollingsworth. moved nashville parents in boyhood.
career
he served in seminole wars. 1837 1839, served mayor of nashville.
personal life
in 1837, married eliza o’brien , died 2 years later @ age of 21 . remarried widow, mrs. anna bell dozier stump. hollingsworth died on january 24, 1855.
