pete brown had been acting part-time manager band glad hand on role redoubtable duncan ferguson, ran greyhound in fulham, famed music venue of time, pete had got band residency. duncan turned them professional , sent them off europe. active line of band in terms of gigging , first professional management allowing band turn pro. many 1 nighters throughout england , wales followed tours of netherlands , germany. weeks found band playing in london @ 1 of many gigs still existed in era such marquee, dingwalls , greyhound , positive reviews appeared in music press. line recorded both travellers , routing in quagmire single @ dennis weinreich’s studio, scorpio sound, still, despite getting close record deal island records, nothing released.
