later editions

the american edition published samuel f. bradford (see fr:samuel f. bradford), of philadelphia. bradford member of famous family of american printers. first volume appeared in may 1806 , last in december 1820. work extended 41 volumes of text , 6 of plates. see section 5 below.


the growth of industrial archaeology led reprinting in 1970s british publisher david , charles of volumes covering manufacturing industry, naval architecture, , horology.


in 1980s swiss publishing house idc produced microfiche edition.
