until 1984, members of röllbach municipal council came exclusively csu. since 1984 municipal election, cwr (christliche wählergemeinschaft röllbach, or christian voters’ community) has been represented on municipal council. @ 2003 landtag elections, csu garnered 74.15% of second votes.

the municipality’s arms might described thus: gules pallet argent, dexter wheel spoked of 6 of same, sinister 5 billets or, two, 1 , two.

the arms based on schultheiß’s (roughly, “sheriff’s”) seal 18th century. wheel of mainz refers electoral mainz’s former hegemony in region, while pallet (narrow vertical stripe), , billets on sinister (armsbearer’s left, viewer’s right) side drawn arms formerly borne barons of hoheneck, known have been in röllbach in 1718, , died out in 1808.
