through band s official page on myspace, offered free downloads of number of tracks debut album in promotion of butcher s ballroom. tracks released on page follows: heroines , balrog boogie , poetic pitbull revolutions — latter of added playlist months later. full album offered free on jamendo of august 2016. in july 2008 band played @ summer breeze open air in germany , in october 2008 @ metal female voices fest in belgium.

in spring 2009, band announced returning studio, , made number of cryptic video blogs document efforts. on june 30, 2009 announced cover art album made swedish illustrator peter bergting, noted being author of portent. track tap dancer s dilemma made available through band s myspace page on july 7, 2009. announced 2 special edition prints of album available pre-order along regular album. both of special edition copies came in 8 panel digipak containing cd, 12-page booklet , bonus dvd. special limited edition restricted 300 orders, , came additional pack of postcards, vinyl sticker, , dog tag embossed band s logo , number between 1-300, unique owner. sing along songs damned & delirious released on september 21, 2009, , on october 2 band played special album-launch gig @ purple turtle club in camden, london.
on january 18, 2010 diablo swing orchestra announced drummer, andreas halvardsson, had stepped down role due personal reasons , replaced petter karlsson, best known work swedish metal act therion. diablo swing orchestra expect pre-production of third album begin towards end of 2010. on july 17, 2010 band played @ circo volador, mexico city.
on august 14, 2010 band played @ brutal assault open air in czech republic new lineup.
in january, 2011, sing along songs damned & delirious nominated in eclectic album category in 10th annual independent music awards. song tap dancer s dilemma nominated metal/hardcore category.
pandora s piñata (2011-2014)
on january 24, 2011 band announced on facebook trumpetist martin isaksson , trombonist, both featured guests on sing along songs damned & delirious, had joined diablo swing orchestra full-time members.
on october 9, 2011, band revealed 3rd album title: pandora s piñata.
annlouice lögdlund, band s second female vocalist, part of line-up 2005 2014.
on march 29, 2012, band announced on facebook petter karlsson leaving band; still featured on upcoming album, had recorded parts. band publicly thanked him fun times hard work has put band . karlsson stated dso band foundation made bunch of great guys, great ideas, great enthusiasm , 100% motivation. feel can’t mobilize amount of greatness , enthusiasm, without having bigger share of artistic creation , in addition limited financial gain. have other things going in life right now. , want continue working on own projects. therefore leave drum throne can put right amount of energy it. dso deserve . johan norbäck filled in drummer rest of ongoing tour, , became full-time member.
on april 9, 2012, band released new album s first single, voodoo mon amour through facebook page.
pandora s piñata released on may 14, 2012 in europe, , may 22 in north america. received rave reviews music critics. on january 8, 2013, band released video song black box messiah .
pacifisticuffs (2014-present)
on august 16, 2014, band announced annlouice lögdlund leaving diablo swing orchestra mutual decision, opera career exceedingly has taken more , more of time . announced kristin evegård replacement, , featured on upcoming single, jigsaw hustle , released later year. started working on next album, feature re-recorded version of jigsaw hustle .
on february 10, 2017, band announced album s title, pacifisticuffs. after announced release date of october 2017, band announced on october 14, 2017, final release date of december 8, preceded 2 singles, knucklehugs on november 3, , age of vulture culture on december 1.
