sōichirō s younger brother , uncle of shimogamo brothers. severed relations shimogamo family following sōichirō s death , aims replace him nise-emon. later revealed sōun envious of brother, fell in love yasaburō s mother before married sōichirō , lost election nise-emon him. these events led him betraying sōichirō helping benten capture sōichirō, leading sōichirō s death. former name sōjirō shimogamo (下鴨 総二郎).

sōun s twin sons , cousins of shimogamo brothers. bully yashirō , down on shimogamo family. real names kurejirō (呉二郎) , kuresaburō (呉三郎).
kaisei ebisugawa (夷川 海星, ebisugawa kaisei)

sōun s daughter , yasaburō s cousin. kaisei , yasaburo s fathers had planned them marry, marriage agreement called off sōun after sōichirō s death. later revealed yajirō had feelings her. kaisei hates benten being involved in soun s plan dispose of uncle. refrains appearing yasaburō in true form, because somehow undoes transformation, fact hides him until father s death.
