career
club career

being member of skonto riga footballing system, koļesņičenko started career in 1996 skonto-metāls, later joining same club in 1997, time different name - skonto riga. played there until 2002, becoming league s top scorer in 2000.


in 2003, left native latvia, joining russian club torpedo-metalurg. after unsuccessful period team (only 7 matches played , no goals scored) returned skonto riga in 2004. in same year challenge russia came koļesņičenko s way, joined fc moscow.


this change unsuccessful, , after playing 1 match, yet again returned latvia, time newly created , ambitious fk venta city of kuldīga. club s ambitions high, finances turned out bubble club went bankrupt , couldn t manage finish first season in top-flight soccer.


in 2006 koļesņičenko joined fk ventspils, playing there 2 years , becoming vital first eleven player. in 2009 vladimirs accepted challenge azerbaijan, joining fellow international teammates andrejs rubins , Ģirts karlsons @ inter baku. returned latvia, continuing struggle abroad. yet again skonto riga, took him under wing.


in 2010, joined chornomorets odesa, couldn t club secure place in ukrainian premier league. after 6 games no goals released. koļesņičenko faced several personal problems , couldn t find club year. in 2011, signed yet again skonto riga, finished professional career ten games , 1 goal, retiring in august 2011, being 31 years old.


international career

koļesņičenko made international debut latvia in 1997, playing 47 international matches , scoring 5 goals. did not participate @ euro 2004 , finished international career in 2011.


later career

after retirement koļesņičenko took office commercial director of former club skonto riga. on february 26, 2012 koļesņičenko elected become chairman of club, guntis indriksons leaving position. in march 2014 appeared in negative light, addressing rude comments towards latvian football federation via twitter after skonto denied necessary license participation in latvian higher league due long-term debts. fined 280 euros breaching code of ethics. license later granted after successful process of appellation , koļesņičenko deleted tweets, saying not apologize, though, comments had been expressed in private capacity, not functional one. actions condemned lff. in july 2014 koļesņičenko resigned skonto riga president s office , replaced igors zaicevs. few days after resignation, koļesņičenko s private company sia ssa bought skonto stadium 13.8 million euros.
